The empty nest can be our most exciting and productive season ever, yet we may approach it with fear and trepidation. Are you feeling unsure? Scared? Expectant? Maybe even giddy?  Wondering what will you do now?  At times like this we need friends to come along side us who can really understand and help us through it.  That's what this exciting new study is all about. Starting on Thursday September 9 at 7:00 p.m. we will start a 12 week study/support group based on the book "Barbara and Susan's Guide to the Empty Nest" at the home of Patti Percy.  Anyone interested in coming should sign up at the Information Desk as soon as possible so that we can order books.  We are asking for a $5.00 donation per book.  If you have questions, please contact Wendy Graham

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Women’s Small Group Study - Wednesday Mornings

Discover how God answers the cry of his persecuted people, Israel, and proclaims himself Lord to them and their oppressors.  This fall, the Wednesday morning ladies Bible study will begin the DVD series by Ray Vander Laan entitled "God Heard Their Cry."  Join renowned teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan as he guides you through the land of the Bible.  In each lesson, Vander Laan illuminates the historical, geographical, and cultural context of the Scriptures.  Filmed on location in the Middle East, the DVD lessons will transform your understanding of God and challenge you to be a true follower of Jesus.

Missionary Fellowship

The GCBC Missionary Fellowship gathering is open to all women who have a heart to craft, quilt, and sew projects that support our Missionaries and Ministries.  Missionary Fellowship meets the 4th Tuesday of each month, except December at 9:30 a.m. with a potluck meal at noon.  All are welcome!
