Men's Ministry

At Gibson City Bible Church we try to offer adults a variety of opportunities to encourage the individual to get involved. We want to provide a balance that enhances relationships, and helps to accomplish our Mission Statement.

Prayer Breakfast:

For the past several years, men from the Gibson City Bible Church have met each Tuesday for an early morning breakfast, fellowship, and prayer. We invite you to join us. (Does not meet during the months of July and August. Resumes in September.)

Helps Ministry:

The service ministry is a ministry of "helps" through GCBC men to those in need. The Scripture states: Galatians 6:9-10 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." This ministry will seek to help those attending GCBC and also those outside the GCBC fellowship. In the process of serving, we hope to build relationships within the work teams in addition to fostering relationships with the individuals that are ministered to.

Bible Study Small Groups:

Various small group opportunities for men to gather around scripture and/or topical studies. Call or email the church office for latest updates.

Men's Special Events:

Men's Events, such as the annual Wild Game Dinner (March 22, 2019) are planned seasonally for men of all ages.
